Dale Cottages Community

The Greendale Centre in Coombe Avenue is a very important Centre for seniors in the Armadale District as well as an integral part of Village life at Dale Cottages.  Most days it is a hub of activities with something to suit all interests.  

The Centre is located at 12 Coombe Avenue, Armadale and is open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm

Please note Activities have individual costs and some are complimentary.  If you are interested in any activities and would like details of costs, locations etc., please phone the individual Activity Leader for details.

12       Internet for Seniors Kiosk

Greendale Centre Library, Monday to Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm.

The Kiosk is available free to seniors in the Community for personal use.

This is a complimentary service & no booking is required.

14      Lions Club of Armadale Kelmscott Inc.

 Greendale Centre Main Hall, third Tuesday of each month, 7.00pm - 11.00pm.

15     Lunches

At a cost of $13.00 you can enjoy a two course, nutritious, tasty, wholesome lunch.  Lunches are served from 12.00pm every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (except public holidays). These meals are available to you, your guests as well as all seniors in the area.  Special events are celebrated, i.e. St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, and Valentine’s Day etc.  This is a great opportunity to socialise, meet new people or catch up with old friends while enjoying a meal.

16     Meals on Wheels

For Village residents that cannot make the dining room our home deliveries may suit.  The meals are delivered hot and delicious.  Available Monday to Friday at a cost of $15.00.   Phone the Greendale 9399 5393 to book, prior to 10.00am on the day.

17     Patchwork Group

Greendale Centre on the first Saturday of each month, 10.00am - 4.00pm.

Helen Newton of Southern Podiatry visits every Wednesday and fortnightly on Tuesdays.

Concession rates apply for Concession Card holders.  Helen operates from the Greendale Centre 12 Coombe Ave, Armadale.

Hall Hire

The Greendale Centre Hall and Kitchen/Dining Rooms will be available for hire for private functions at reasonable rates with seating for 110 people in the Hall and 60 people in the Dining Room.  Catering can also be arranged for private functions through our Catering Contractors if required.
